I teach because I love collaboration, feeding the creative spark, and working on a goal in community. I wanted to create a supportive space where writers of any level and genre can explore their creative voices.

My classes are student centered, process oriented, fun, intimate, and multi-tiered. I believe that everyone has a creative spark that wants to be expressed, and with enough encouragement, it can be cultivated, developed, and become a transformative force in our lives.

I offer my multi-tiered “Voices Series” of workshops, each of which is 6-weeks long and are designed to be taken consecutively but can be taken wherever a writer believes they are in the process of their written creative development.

The first of this series is Discovering Your Voice, and prioritizes generating creative work in community with writing prompts and some workshops elements, discussion and readings.

Next is the Developing Your Voice workshop which focuses on workshopping and some reading/discussion. It is for writers who already have a body of work that they’d like to develop further with the value of feedback from community in a workshop setting.

The final workshop in this series is Amplify Your Voice and is for writers who are approaching a finished body of work and are looking into fine-tuning and publication. There are some workshop elements in this series, and an increased focus on 1-1 Mentorship/Coaching and exploration of paths to publishing.

We are currently highlighting our Summer Queer Poetry Workshop which runs July 13th-August 17th 2026 via Zoom. This 6-week series will center LGBTQ+ writers and writing and will mix exercises designed to generate work with workshopping and readings and disucssion of Poetry.

I offer 1-1 Writing Coaching and Editing Services on an hourly basis for anyone who is looking for close facilitation of their work in a 1-1 setting. These services can be booked through the Services or Appointment Tabs.

Writing has always been a transformative force for me, and in undergoing my own writing journey, I’m able to connect with a wide range of writers across genres and ages. I truly enjoy the collaborative process of sculpting a piece of written creative work, and have found a great power in the collaborative effort of shaping a piece of writing, whether it’s excavating the diamond inside or giving it wings.
